Gravel & rock delivery in Miami

Miami covers more ground conditions than the rest of our area combined, from oolite limestone ridges to fill over mangrove muck. Delivery is a flat $200 per order, charged once regardless of size.

Building in Miami

Everything. Paver and pool work in the residential neighbourhoods, drainage retrofits across the older grid, commercial base and fill in the industrial corridors, and steady decorative stone demand from the landscape trade.

Ground conditions

The Atlantic Coastal Ridge runs through Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, where you are often cutting into solid oolite rather than digging sand. East and south of there it turns to fill over organics, and the water table is close.

Getting a truck onto your Miami site

Varies enormously. The Grove and the Gables have mature canopy and narrow lanes; much of the rest is straightforward. Overhead clearance is the usual constraint, not street width.

A loaded tri-axle carries about eighteen cubic yards and needs roughly sixty feet of straight backing room and fourteen feet of overhead clearance. If your site is tighter than that, say so when you book and we will send the twelve-yard trailer instead.

Areas we cover in Miami

Miami — common questions

Before you order.

Do you deliver to Miami?

Yes. Miami is in Miami-Dade County, inside our West Palm Beach to Miami service area. Minimum order is one cubic yard and there is no truckload minimum.

How much is delivery to Miami?

A flat $200 per order, the same as everywhere else we deliver. It does not change with order size, so three yards and thirty carry the same fee.

How fast can you deliver in Miami?

Next business day on most orders placed before noon on a weekday.

What is the smallest order you will bring to Miami?

One cubic yard. For scale, a cubic yard is about fifty-four bags from a home centre, so even the minimum is a load worth having delivered.

Do you charge by the ton or the yard?

By the cubic yard, which is the unit your plan is drawn in. No tonnage conversion to get wrong.
